Tighter, cleaner, cropped and manipulated version of this, as per my instructor’s orders. I like the working sketch much more (but that’s how it always goes, sigh).
Pencil and Photoshop.

My working sketch for our latest layout assignment. The layout had to be loosely based on “18th century European cities”. Digital tone to somewhat sell the depth. Wonkiness abounds!

Here’s the latest layout assignment… Why did I think it would be a good idea to throw so many details in there? It might be hard to figure out whats what because my teacher only wanted linework and no grayscale filler. Buh.
Anyways, this is the hideout of a dastardly voodoo croc, who is a variation of the infamous Moriarty (the main baddie from Sherlock Hams). In this universe, Sherlock is a crocodilianand Watson is a snapping turtle.
Sherlock Croc.

Here’s the gray-scale scan of my two-point perspective layout… With some digital tone tossed on top of the foreground elements to make ‘em pop more, ya know?

My tight(ish) rough for my two-point interior layout assignment. It’s a temple of sorts, housing Odin knows what in the deep, dark murk…
Anyways, this was fun and I’m more or less pleased with it. Some of its cut-off due to the size of my scanner, though. Here’s the thumbnail I cut out and used:
